Muirhead (Dundee) Red Squirrel Sanctuary
A group that is protecting red squirrels in a small woodland enclave on the outskirts of Dundee. They raise money through the sale of
calendars that contain pictures of their red squirrels and other resident and migrating wildlife that inhabit the woodland.
 
The Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre
A not-for-profit organisation 3 miles north of Morpeth just off the popular Northumbrian Coast Route and currently home to over 150 resident animals. Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and release orphaned and injured British Wildlife. Any which cannot be released stay here with us for life. Our Visitor Centre is open Friday to Monday from April until the end of November & Saturdays only in February and March.
